Chum salmon is a pacific salmon. Chum salmon average 5-6kg in weight. Chum have an ocean coloration of silvery blue green with some indistinct spotting in a darker shade, and a rather paler belly. Chum Salmon has a yellow dorsal fin. Chum Salmon meat colour is similar like Atlantic Salmon – orange colour.

Sockeye Salmon also called Red Salmon. This species is a Pacific Salmon that is primarily red in hue during spawning. They can grow up to 84 cm in length and weigh 2.3 to 7 kg. This is the top grade in wild caught salmon species. It meat is light red colour, so do not worry, we are not colouring it. It is natural red.
Sockeye salmon is the third-most common Pacific salmon species, after pink and chum salmon.
